The hot pinks and reds of the ginger flower and the deep greens are great reminders of this tropical island and will come with us home to Sydney when we eventually depart.

Tracy and Sophie Tait are dear friends of our family. I met Tracy in my first week in Singapore as our daughters were in the same class at school in Singapore. Tracy had lived in Hong Kong before Singapore but is originally from Manchester not too far from my own English roots in Yorkshire.

I first saw Clare's work at my friends house, whom we met through a common friend in Houston. She has one of the paintings of the Singapore Shophouses. I loved it straight away and started following Clare on Facebook.
